Bali, the island of the gods

Bali is located in Asia, is one island of Indonesia. Bali life is closely related to culture and religion. There are numerous Hindu temples since the dominant religion is Hindu. This is why it is known as the “Island of the Gods” or the “Island of the Thousand Temples”.

You can travel to Bali at any time of the year, as the weather is warm all year round, have a monsoonal tropical climate. The year is divided into two seasons: the wet season or monsoon that runs from late October to April, the monsoons are not strong and there are no heavy rains. Much of the tourism avoids traveling at this station, but there are tourists who see the tropical storms as something positive since there is more tranquility and prices are lower; The dry season runs from April to September. The rains are almost non-existent and the days are sunny and with less humidity. During these months tourism increases and multiplies in the months of July and August.

Mengwi: This is 18 km from the capital, in Mengwi is the  Taman Ayun Temple, is one of the most famous temples of the island, was built in 1634.

Beraban: In Beraban is the Tanah Lot Temple, it is one of the most beautiful examples of the Hindu religious architecture of Bali.

Uluwatu Temple: is located on a cliff of 75 meters high.

Pura Besakih: Is the largest and most sacred temple on the island. It is located on the slope of the sacred Mount Agung, the Mother Temple is composed of 22 different temples.

Klungkung: Here is the Kerta Gosa which is the courthouse.

Baturiti: In this district is the Ulun Danu Temple, a temple dedicated to the god of the lake, is located on the waters of Lake Bratan.

Ubud: In Ubud you have to visit the Monkey Forest, it is located one kilometer from the center of Ubud.

And finally we recommend you to visit the beautiful beaches of Jimbaran and Nusa Dua.
