A Mediterranean Thanksgiving

All of us have this image so typical in films and TV series of an American family having dinner in big table around a turkey. But, what is exactly Thanksgiving?
In the USA this day is celebrated the fourth Thursday of November and its origins are dated back to the 16th-century to thanks for the harvest. Nowadays, it is more an excuse to reunite the family and friends and, of course, to enjoy a great meal.
It is not a secret that some American habits are becoming ours too, also this festivity. However, thanksgiving is not the only thing that we are acquiring. The day after it, Christmas shopping season is inaugurated in the US and for some years also in a great number of countries around the world: Black Friday. Although there is still more: the Monday after Thanksgiving it’s the time for online purchasing: Cyber Monday.
If you can’t beat your enemies, join them. Enjoy an American “Black Friday” and have a brunch in some of our Exclusiver establishments, have little whims in some of our shopping proposals and end up the day with a great dinner or delightful tapas.
