Torre de San Nicolás’ leyends

According to the legend, the house and gardens of Torre de San Nicolás hold a love story between Otttoman Admiral Barbarossa and a Minorcan girl. Minorcan people also used it to defend from pirate attacks.

In southern Minorcan coast, Torre de San Nicolás is a seafront site brimming with history. It was built in 1530 using  Minorcan stone called marés.

Villa decoration blends antique furniture with contemporary Art, photos with paintings of 1800, old French linen with suzani and killims from Afganistan with Minorcan furniture.
