1.Minorcan coves
Minorcan coves are as worthy as any cove in the world. Even having a difficult access, it is worth the effort to have a peaceful and relaxing day.
Some of these coves are: Cala Turqueta, Cala Macarella, Cala Pregonda.
2.A prehistoric visit
All along the island we can see prehistoric remains. The three essentials are:
- Naveta des Tudons: considered the oldest building in Europe
- Torre d’en Galmes: the most important prehistoric village in Menorca.
- Torralba d’en Salord: the prehistoric village with the most important Taula (Stonehenge-esque stone monument typical of the island) in Menorca.
3.Avarcas
Avarcas are the most typical sandals used by farmers in Menorca and a must purchase in your visit.
4.Scuba-diving
If you are a scuba-diving lover Menorca is one of your destinations: stunning seabed and crystal-water.
Some of the idyllic places for diving are: Sa Cavallería, S’escala, Binibequer Vell.
5.Chilling in Cova d’en Xaroi
Cova d’en Xaroi is a place built in the top of a cliff just next to the sea. The place is connected through stairs and alleys both with breathtaking views to the Mediterranean Sea. It is an ideal place to enjoy sunset.
